Předpoklady
The student will learn about some social services that offer modern approaches in social work, get basic information about the system of social support in the Czech Republic in the field of NGOs, get acquainted with the values of organizations, the basic principles, goals and activities of social services and the demands they face.

Cíle předmětu
Seminar focused on excursions in social and educational institutions based on a selected topic related to social or school work. Target competences - knowledge of selected concepts and methods of psychosocial work, their specifics and possibilities of their use in working with clients. Knowledge of some organisations where concepts are used. Ability to evaluate the contribution/significance of concepts for psychosocial work.
Výstupy z učení
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - Have an overview of specific organizations according to the thematic focus - To have a basic understanding of concepts and methods, including their principles, meanings and possible applications. - Be able to distinguish the needs of the people for whom each concept is intended. - To be able to express their opinion and attitude on a given issue.
Osnova
  • Visiting 2-3 facilities with a guide and independently, discovering information on the basis of a framework outline, writing a reflection, interview with the teacher of the subject.

written reflection, where the student will be able to focus on important aspects and contexts of social work as they see them in practice, express their emotions and their causes, participation in field trips, collaboration with social workers
